COVID-19 Precautions: Keeping You Safe at Seadar Inn

Please visit the Massachusetts Travel Advisory Website for current information concerning travel to Massachusetts from other states.  The requirements are constantly changing, and undoubtedly will continue to change, as circumstances require. Access to the Massachusetts Travel Advisory website and additional information, including quarantine requirements, can be obtained by copying the following link and pasting it into your internet browser:

Effective Monday, March 22, 2021 the MA Travel Order will be replaced with a Travel Advisory. The new travel advisory urges all persons entering Massachusetts, including returning residents, to quarantine for 10 days upon their arrival if they have been out of the state for 24 hours or more.

  • Anyone who is returning to Massachusetts after an absence of fewer than 24 hours is exempt from the advisory.
  • Travelers who have a negative COVID-19 test result that has been administered up to 72 hours prior to their arrival in Massachusetts.
  • Workers who enter Massachusetts to perform critical infrastructure functions (as specified by the Federal Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency) are exempt from this advisory while they are commuting to or from or while at work.
  • Travelers who are fully vaccinated (i.e., who have received two doses of either the Moderna or Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines OR who have received a single dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, 14 days or more ago) and who do not have symptoms are exempt from this advisory.

Travelers are encouraged to consult and follow the CDC’s guidelines and requirements for travel.

Our Covid policies from the 2020 season are printed below, as a point of reference, we will change them for the 2021 season as we receive more information.

Our lobby is open for guest check-ins and check-outs only. Until social distancing guidelines are relaxed, we ask that you not spend unnecessary time in the lobby.

Please wear a face covering when checking in and out, and any time when social distancing is not possible on our property.

We are strictly adhering to all guidelines for sanitizing rooms between guest visits.

Daily housekeeping service has been temporarily suspended. No one will enter your room at any time throughout your visit unless requested. Fresh towels will be provided as needed.

For the time being, we are not providing a continental breakfast, and our dining room is closed. As an alternative we plan on providing each guest with a gift card to Cumberland Farms which is at the corner of Bank Street and Route 28 (a short walk).  They provide hot and iced coffee, and a variety of breakfast sandwiches and other breakfast items.  We chose the gift card approach because it can also be used for gas or any other purchase at Cumberland Farms if you choose to have breakfast at another venue.
