Dennis Pines Golf Course

Dennis Pines Golf Course

50 Golf Course Rd, East Dennis, MA 02641

One of two golf courses owned and operated by the Town of Dennis, Dennis Pines Golf Course is a par seventy-two, 7,000-yard championship course set on 170 acres of pine forest land on the north side of Cape Cod in the village of East Dennis. The course, which is open to the public, was designed by Henry C. Mitchell and opened for play in 1966. Dennis Pines has long been noted as one of the toughest layouts on Cape Cod. Tree-lined corridors place a great premium on accuracy rather than distance and with water coming into play on four holes, you’ll find yourself regretting anything other than a perfectly-placed tee shot. The twelfth hole is widely-recognized as one of the most difficult par-5s anywhere. Breathe, square your shoulders and hope for the best as you try to sink the ball in anything under bogie on this infamous hole. If frustration should happen to creep into your day, fear not; a cold beer will be close at hand as you come off the course. The public is welcome to book tee times online. Reduced greens’ fees are offered 1:00 p.m. with a further reduction after 4:00 p.m.
