Reservation and Cancellation Policies

Reservations – A stay of 3 nights or less will require payment in full at the time the reservation is confirmed. Longer stays will require a 50% deposit on booking, with the balance payable 21 days before arrival.

Cancellations or amendments to a confirmed reservation more than 21 days before your arrival are subject to a cancellation fee of 10% of the full charge, or $50 per room (whichever is higher), and the balance of your payment will be refunded. The cancellation fee is intended to reimburse the Inn for the cost of processing the reservation.

Cancellations or changes within 21 days of arrival are subject to the room/s being re-let and the above cancellation fee. If we are required to re-let the room at a reduced rate your refund will reflect that reduction.

Check-in/Out times – Check-in is between 3 pm and 6 pm, unless by prior arrangement. Check-out is by 11 am.

Pets – We are not able to accept pets, nor may they be left in guest vehicles on the inn’s grounds.

Smoking – In accordance with Massachusetts law, the inn is completely NON-SMOKING. If a guest smokes in the inn we will charge them a special cleaning fee of $250. We reserve the right to ask the guest to stop smoking, and if he or she refuses they will be asked to leave the inn immediately, without refunding any outstanding unused nights.

Damage to Seadar Inn Property – If a guest causes damage to inn property, it is their responsibility to replace or repair the damaged item/s. If the damage is discovered after a guest has checked out, it is our policy to discuss the matter with the guest and agree upon a reparation sum to be charged to their credit card.

Other Policies We will not be responsible for accidents or injury to guests, or for loss of money, valuables or any other items belonging to a guest.

Lodging Taxes Massachusetts lodging taxes are not included in the room rates. All policies and rates may be subject to change without notice.
